Jasmine has broken our hearts many times but this time takes the cake. We've known Jasmine since she arrived in such a sad state in October, 2021 as a stray. Jasmine had some out-of-control skin condition going on and she needed our help. We gave her loads of good medical care and got her in great shape. After a very lengthy stay with us, Jasmine finally got adopted! Unfortunately, a year later, she is back. Her former owner assures us that Jasmine did not do a single thing wrong.....the reason for the return is a family issue, not Jasmine's issue. Jasmine is 4 1/2 now and she's just as sweet and loving and playful as ever! Sadly, she is 30 pounds heavier than when she left and she now has breathing difficulties due to her weight. Jasmine needs a good diet and exercise, and a stable, loving, wonderful home. Jasmine is still active and silly, and she makes friends so easily. She still needs to be the only-pet in the home and also needs her allergies kept in check. She loves chasing a tennis ball and getting lots of attention, and she would love for her stay here to be short this time. Please give Jasmine a chance!
