Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- New Iberia, LA Meet Banjo! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix (other breed is unknown) and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots. He is also up to date on rabies, distemper combo, and bordetella vaccinations. Banjo is good with younger children, cats, and dogs! He is friendly, playful, affectionate, and loves to be near his person! He hasn’t been tested around older children. He had a leg amputated after he arrived to Iberia Parrish Animal Control. His back left leg was amputated due to an infection in his ankle from an unknown injury. Banjo was tagged by a rescue, but then the foster could no longer take him. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Banjo, please contact the person listed below.
